How Bactiquant’s technology works
The BactiQuant technology is based on a patented method to measure the activity of a naturally occurring enzyme harbored by a broad range of bacteria in drinking water systems. The more enzyme activity, the more bacteria are present in the sample.
BactiQuant offers a unique combination of online and handheld technology that can be used to keep track of the water quality in the whole water chain, from raw water to the end user. The emphasis is on the early detection of possible contaminations or instabilities in the water quality rather than the correction after they have occurred.
